Austin Araujo is a writer from northwest Arkansas. His debut poetry collection, At the Park on the Edge of the Country, was selected by Aimee Nezhukumatathil as the winner of the 2023 The Journal / Charles B. Wheeler Prize.
A recipient of the Wallace Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University, his work has recently appeared in Poetry, Bennington Review, and Cleveland Review of Books. He serves as Associate Poetry Editor at Southern Indiana Review. He is currently a student in the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa.
